
Lisa Pasold
Lisa Pasold grew up in Tio'tia:ke/Montréal & has spent much of her adult life living in Paris. Her 2012 poetic narrative, Any Bright Horse, was shortlisted for Canada’s prestigious Governor General’s Award. To develop her six books, she has been writing daily poems for two decades; the resulting poems have appeared in magazines such as The Los Angeles Review, The Georgia Review, Fence and New American Writing. She is the host and co-writer of Discovery World’s TV travel show “Paris Next Stop.” Lisa is also the creator of live “Improbable Walks”, story-telling that focuses on place memory while walking through urban environments. She has created these walks to critical acclaim for festivals and gallery residencies in cities such as New Orleans, Toronto, and Paris.
